Day 1: Arrival in Chennai
Arrive at the Chennai Airport. Our representative will receive you and transfer you to the hotel Taj Coromandel. After a traditional Indian welcome at the reception, check in and relax for sometiome. In the evening, take a stroll along the Marina Beach and return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Chennai
After breakfast at the hotel, go on a sightseeing tour of the city. The tour includes visits to Art and Bronze Gallery, Flower & Fruit market, High court, Fort, Marina Beach, Santhome Cathedral, Fort St George, Kapaleeswarar Temple and Snake Park. The rest of the day is free for you to enjoy at leisure. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Chennai - Mahabalipuram/ Kanchipuram – Chennai
In the morning after breakfast, leave for the temple towns of Mahabalipuram and Kanchipuram. On your sightseeing tour of Mahabalipuram, visit the ancient caves, the Shore Temple, Arjuna's Penance and Krishna Mandapam. At Kanchipuram, known as the town of the 1000 temples, visit Ekambaswara, Kailasanatha, Sri Kamakshi and Varadarajaswamy Temples and silk and textile outlets. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Chennai – Bangalore
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to railway station to board the train to Bangalore. On arrival, check in at the luxury hotel Leela Palace, refresh and relax over lunch. Later, move for a sightseeing tour of the city. Visit the Lal Bagh botanical garden, Maharaja's Palace, Government buildings, technology parks and nightclubs, pubs & cafes. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Bangalore – Mysore
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Mysore (140 km from Bangalore). En route, visit Srirangapatanam for sightseeing. On arrival, check in at the hotel Lalitha Mahal Palace and relax. The day is free for you to enjoy at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6: Mysore
After breakfast in the morning move for a sightseeing tour of Mysore. Visit the sandalwood and jasmine markets, Mysore Palace and Chamundeswari Temple. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city at leisure. Indulge in the several recreational activities at the hotel. Overnight stay in Mysore.

Day 7: Mysore – Ooty
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Ooty hill station (145 km from Mysore). On arrival, check in at the hotel Sullivan Court and relax. The day is free for leisure activities. You can go for treks, nature walks, photography, shopping etc. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Ooty
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a sightseeing tour. Visit the artificial Ooty Lake created in 1825 and board the toy-train for a guided tour around the lake and the nearby racecourse. Later visit Lamb's Rock and Kodanadu View Point. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: Ooty – Cochin
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Cochin (245 km from Ooty), passing many coastal and backwater villages, spice and tea plantations. On arrival, check in at the hotel Taj Malabar and attend the Kathakali Dance performance in the evening as you relax over dinner with family and friends. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 10: Cochin
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a city sightseeing tour of Cochin. Visit Fort Cochin; St Francis Church; Jew Synagogue; Dutch, Portuguese and English era Buildings; Chinese fishing nets; Kochi Harbor; the splendid beaches of Vypeen Island and more. In the evening, venture on a sunset cruise along the famous Kochi Harbor. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 11: Cochin - Alapuzzha – Houseboat
Early morning after breakfast at the hotel, drive to Alapuzzha, known for its pristine beaches and balmy backwaters. On arrival, climb aboard the traditional houseboat and cruise through the soothing backwaters of Kerala. Pass through coconut groves and small Kerala villages that flank the beautiful backwater on both sides. Take a glimpse of the paddy fields, duck farms, mussel divers, Mangalam, Chithira, R-block and C block as you pass by. After the afternoon nap, tea and snacks are served. Dinner and overnight stay in the Private Luxury Houseboat.

Day 12: Kumarakom - Thekkady
Breakfast aboard the houseboat as you arrive in Kumarakom. On arrival, visit the bird sanctuary and the tea factory. After the sightseeing tour of Kumarakom, leave for Periyar National Park, Thekkady (175 km from Kumarakom). On the way enjoy hilly countryside, spice plantations, traditional villages, waterfalls and green meadows. On arrival in the elephant playground, check in at the hotel Spice Village and spend your night there.

Day 13: Thekkady
After breakfast at the hotel, take a trip of the Periyar National Park. A boat cruise on the Periyar Lake would an exhilarating experience. Also trek along the spice plantations and tea estates in particular Abraham's Spice Garden and shop at the Kumily Market for souvenirs and curios. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 14: Thekkady – Madurai
Early morning after a breakfast at the hotel, drive to Madurai (170 km from Thekkady). On arrival, check in at the hotel Taj Garden Retreat, refresh, and relax over lunch. Post lunch visit the Meenakshi Temple and many other temples in the complex. Also explore the grand Tirumala Nayak Palace, Alagar Hills and Tirupara Kundran Rock Temple, and attend the Light & Sound Panorama show in the evening. In the evening, visit the bustling markets of Madurai and shop for souvenirs and curios. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 15: Madurai – Chennai
After breakfast, relax in the morning. Later in the day, drive to the railway station to board the Guruvayoor Chennai Express leaving for Chennai. After a late evening arrival, check in at the hotel Le Meridien for dinner and overnight stay in Chennai.

Day 16 (Sunday): Chennai
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport to board the flight back home or to your onward destination.
